From a young age, Anuj has been exposed to business management and entrepreneurial spirit with his parents owning an I.T. business. He migrated to the UK over 20 years ago but maintains family ties across the globe and has always been surrounded by various cultures and ways of working. Anuj strongly believes that a diverse and engaged workforce are key to creating a high performing work environment.

Anuj has over a decade of experience working in HR across various industries such as Aviation, Logistics, Finance & FMCG. He is a recognised and trusted leader who brings with him impressive corporate experience of leading and implementing progressive HR strategies. Anuj joins us from Gist Ltd, who have recently been acquired by M&S. He most recently worked on supporting the Acquisition activities and, prior to this, oversaw restructuring and transformation activities for the M&S Foods division within Gist. Prior to that, Anuj worked at WFS and played a pivotal role in setting up multiple new airline customers at new locations whilst supporting the freight division of the business. At WFS, Anuj predominantly supported business partnering, introducing digital solutions, talent management, employee relations and overall people strategy and culture.

Anuj Chopra joins us as the Head of HR -UK at Tenon Group and oversees the HR function, which leads talent management and acquisition, leadership development, learning and capability building, compensation and benefits, organisational effectiveness, and HR operations.

Anuj has experience in helping organisations with harnessing the power of one of their most valuable assets, their people. Anuj believes that people are at the heart of what Tenon do. He is committed to modernising the HR practices and creating a robust culture that promotes business growth, customer loyalty by empowering and motivating employees. Anuj aligns the company’s strategic initiatives in line with its long-run goals and vision. Mainstreaming sustainability through technological advancements, creating an efficient, diverse and an empowering working environment are his key focus areas.

Anuj has BA (Hons) in Business Studies & HRM and is a Chartered Member of CIPD.
